Accessibility Requirement
The customer acknowledges that it is their responsibility to ensure that our gelato cart can reach the designated venue without any obstacles. The customer must verify that the location is accessible and suitable for the gelato cart, taking into consideration any narrow passages, steps, ramps, or other potential impediments. Failure to ensure accessibility without prior agreement with the company will result in the forfeiture of the customer’s deposit.
Power Supply Requirement
The customer acknowledges that our gelato cart requires a reliable electricity source to operate. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that a suitable power supply is available at the designated venue. The customer must verify the availability and accessibility of a power source and communicate any specific requirements to the company prior to the event. Failure to provide a suitable power source without prior agreement with the company will result in the forfeiture of the customer’s deposit.
Booking Confirmation
To confirm a booking, a deposit equal to 50% of the expected final balance must be submitted. Once the deposit is received, the booking will be considered confirmed.
Payment Terms
The Customer is required to make the following payments to Scoopalicious:
- The full deposit amount is due to confirm the booking. This amount will be applied towards the final tax invoice.
- The remaining balance, minus the deposit, must be paid upon receipt of the account. The final payment must be received at least 30 days prior to the event.
Non-Payment
Failure to fulfill the payment obligations may result in the termination of the booking by Scoopalicious. In such cases, the deposit will not be refunded.
Cancellation
If the Customer cancels the booking before the event date, it is acknowledged that this will cause a reasonably foreseeable loss to Scoopalicious. Consequently, the Customer agrees to the following terms:
- The deposit will be forfeited.
- The deposit retained by Scoopalicious will serve as compensation for the loss incurred.
Postponement
In the event that the Customer wishes to reschedule the booking for any reason, including due to COVID-19 restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances, the rescheduling will only take place upon written confirmation by Scoopalicious and is subject to the following conditions:
- Scoopalicious will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date requested by the Customer. However, Scoopalicious is not obligated to provide service on the new date and reserves the right to accept or decline the rescheduling request at its sole discretion.
- The rescheduled date must fall within twelve (12) months of the original booking date.
- Prices for the rescheduled booking may be adjusted based on the rates in effect at the time of the rescheduling.
- The Customer is entitled to exercise this rescheduling option only once.
Liability
Scoopalicious shall not be held liable or responsible for any loss of life, personal injury, or damage to property suffered by the Customer or any associated individuals, including servants, officers, contractors, guests, members, patrons, invitees, unless such harm arises directly from an act or omission of Scoopalicious, its employees, agents, or subcontractors.
